Note: I wrote this for my mom when she was sick and we didn't know what was wrong. She is alive and hasn't had a bad episode in a few years.

The coughing,
It returns.
Will you go soon?
Your face,
It's red.
Will you be leaving me here?
You stumble,
You're weak.
Are you abandoning me?
You're so young,
You've been so healthy,
How can you be dieing?

I see your hair,
It's much the same,
But the grey is much more prominent.
I see your pretty face,
'Twas so young,
But the wrinkles I see weren't before on thee.
I see you,
Your beauty untold,
Will you die and leave me in the cold?
